Why Christmas is Merry
No white snowflakes,
nor presents and cakes.
No Santa Claus,
nor carolling songs.
Just clear skies,
stars twinkling bright.
A deep silence,
of peace and reverence.
For eons ago,
in a manger's hollow.
A hope ignites,
on the very same night.
Christ was born,
God's only son.
Forever we celebrate
A love none can equate.
